Emily was born and raised in Denair, California by parents Rusty & Lisa. She has two older siblings, Justin & Katie.
She went to college in Turlock, CA at California University Stanislaus, after graduating with a Business degree she moved to NYC by way of New Jersey (where she met her now Sister in Law - Jessica). Although initially focused on Theater Arts she fell into Television Production and has enjoyed a varied career working with Barbara Walters, National Geographic, Dr. Oz and producing many documentaries for a variety of networks. She is a Peabody award winning & Emmy nominated Producer for ABC News 20/20. During 2020 Emily decided to move back closer to family and ended up purchasing a home in her home town only blocks from her parents and sister’s family.
Terah was raised in Brownsville, Texas with his younger sister, Sheriesse. He graduated college from Fullsail University in Flordia, and moved to Los Angeles to work in Audio mixing in the entertainment industry.
Terah (Bishop) was raised in Brownsville, Texas with his younger sister, Sherisse’ by parents Terah & Sheralyn. He was in a Christian rock band and toured parts of the US. Although initially focused on joining the music industry, Bishop fell in love with movie audio mixing and graduated from Fullsail University in Florida. He moved to Los Angeles to work in Audio Mixing in the entertainment industry. After accepting an Audio Tech position at Skywalker Sound he moved to Northern California in October 2020. In his free time enjoys mixing for independent movies.
Emily “liked” Bishop’s photo on the dating app Hinge and after a few zoom dates they met in person to watch a live stream of a podcast (such millennials) and have been in love ever since.
After almost a year of traveling almost 2 hours every weekend to be together, Terah (Bishop) proposed on December 17th on the front porch of Emily’s home in Denair. She was totally shocked and had no idea he would be in town, let alone proposing. She even asked him to get her Amazon package from the porch before realizing he was dropping to his knee…

We both moved to Northern California in October 2020 - Emily from NYC, Bishop from LA
Our first few dates were over Zoom, seems fitting to have our wedding over Zoom as well!
Terah (Bishop) was tested for Covid weekly, which allowed us to safely meet in person! Thanks Skywalker Sound!
Terah (Bishop) is a huge sports fan and follows the Atlanta Falcons, University of Michigan, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Red Sox, LA Kings, Chelsea (soccer) and the Mercedes F1 team.
Emily has a large collection of Playbills from the many live performances she has seen over the years.
Bishop is a drummer, Emily sings, plays the flute and piano (although poorly)
In our year together we have traveled to Texas 3 times…highly recommend (enter BBQ restaurant in Dallas)
Emily is bringing a dog and cat to the marriage. Fortunately both adore and seemingly prefer Bishop.
