FIREFIGHTER/ENGINEER
This full-time position is classified as Firefighter/Engineer. This employee will maintain and operate a variety of fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, participate in firefighting activities, fire prevention and training; perform mechanical maintenance on vehicles, equipment and apparatus; maintain the fire station and property; and perform and provide emergency medical services.
Must be 21 years or older.
Must possess at time of application:
- California drivers license with Firefighter endorsements
- California First Responder certification with defib.
- Valid CPR certification
- ICS 200 certification
Desirable qualifications:
- California State Fire Marshall Firefighter One certification
- California EMT - 1 certification with defib
- Bilingual
- Experience with Denair Fire Protection District
- Live within a desired response time
Job Type: Full-time
Salary
$36,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
